Great location - close to Chinatown, Comedy Theatre, and lots of bars/restaurants. Friendly staff. Room was in a good spot 1007 - a bit back from the road, so it was not affected by traffic noise but had an OK outlook and a mini balcony. The bathroom was well appointed and had really lovely toiletries. Good rooftop pool. Nice selection of tea in room and chilled water in the fridge. Breakfast was very good. Cute selection of decorative salt and pepper pots on each table - all different - nice touch as it made it different from a bland restaurant setting! One lift was out of order, but there was very good signage to the alternative lifts!

Alison

We stay here often as it is well located to public transport, Melbourne city centre and easy to get around town. The building has been undergoing renovations and this is still ongoing so the lifts are slower than usual but other than that the staff are accommodating, friendly and helpful. Parking is nearby and discounted with hotel stamp on your park ticket (half price). Breakfast is ok, it's nothing out of the ordinary and I certainly wouldn't pay $29 each for it but the offering is simple and plentiful. Our room was spacious (King corner room 806), comfortable and well appointed -( I love the fluffy bathrobes). Will stay again.

I love the location of the hotel. Very central, easy to get around and really close to Chinatown and Fitzroy area which have great food and nightlife. The room was very clean and the facilities were good. The bed was very big and comfy. Loved the rooftop pool ! It was awesome. The staff were super friendly, and extremely accommodating. The staff went out of their way to help me retrieve a birthday cake we'd left behind. Overall I would stay here again. The location is just perfect for visiting Melbourne

Anthea

Hotel had a good feel about it. A very friendly welcome on arrival. The room was clean and comfortable with a fabulous bed. The bar was lovely with a nice range of drinks and cocktails and we enjoyed a cocktail in a quiet little corner of the bar after going to a show. Breakfast next morning was fantastic. So much to choose from!

Alfred

Very comfortable and new bathroom, close to convenience stores and supermarket, public transport a block away. Would stay there again and I think that is the acid test. Close to theatres and an excellent array of shops being right in the cbd. Cons town only a few minutes away.
