Excellent location, very courteous staff, clean room, excellent amenities, and comfy bed. Breakfast is sufficient to get you going... not over the top. Would definitely stay here again!

It’s in a great location. Perfect for theatre, shopping and other CBD events. It’s easy to find and parking next to the hotel is very convenient with competitive rates to the Wilson around the corner. As for the room we were upgraded (so thank you) from a queen to a King deluxe. It was perfect for our needs. The room was done up well, looked like a brand new bathroom. Huge king sized bed (two king singles together), large TV, basic tea and coffee and a tiny bar bridge. Bed super comfy and a range of pillows one soft and medium for each guest to choose from. Clean and neat as a pin. Our floor was quiet. Only sounds was the buzzing of the aircon/ heater engine outside on balcony. Breaky was great and standard buffet range. Staff pleasant and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay. This is now our fav hotel in the CBD and we can’t wait to book again!

The staff at the front desk were lovely and very nice, so upon arrival it felt like a very nice place to check in. The room itself was also fantastic! It was very clean and tea, coffee and sugar packs were also provided, along with a kettle and a small bar fridge (inside a cabinet) with some milk, which was an a great addition. The bathroom was also very clean and came with soaps and conditioners. What I appreciated the most was the very hot shower! It was so nice to jump into the shower to have a really hot shower after walking around the CBD all day, especially after getting wet in the rain. The provided TV was also great as it allowed me to screencast my phone and watch YouTube and Kick on the TV. The view was nice too, although limited due to being located at the side of the hotel. Highly recommended hotel! I will be back here again in the future even though I live in Melbourne South Eastern suburbs; it was just good to get away and not have to worry about going home with busy traffic after a long day in the city. Again, 10/10!

Our room was very clean and comfortable, with everything well maintained. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and went out of their way to be helpful, which made our short stay pleasant. The hotel's location was perfect, literally walking distance to everything! Convenience store right next to hotel and Korean bbq and snack (win!). Close to QV and Melbourne Central which are my fave places in town!

It's a short walk to Chinatown, theatres, the Greek Quarter, shopping, and those charming Melbourne laneways. I loved being close to the action but still having a quiet room for a good night's sleep. What made my week-long stay truly special was the impeccable service. Every staff member, from the concierge to the cleaning team, was discreet, and attentive, and genuinely made me feel at home. They anticipated my needs before I even had to ask – my room was always immaculately cleaned and stocked with everything I needed. I stayed in a Superior Queen Room, which was spacious, comfortable, and had a lovely balcony. Highly recommend the Grand Chancellor Melbourne for a luxurious and convenient stay.
